[UE4] Mos Espa - Star Wars Environment

Greetings.

I'm starting a new personal project this summer and I figured I'd make a thread to track my progress along the way. I'm looking to recreate a scene from Mos Espa.

Here is my target image:



Here is the progress I made tonight. This started as a test to see what I could achieve in a few hours without really honing in and really focusing on the sculpts/materials.







From this point I'm going to start blocking the scene and really focusing on getting some nice sculpts/bakes.

Any crit/feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

your normals are probably photosourced, right? they are way too strong and quite low frequency.. compare your assets to your reference.. do you notice all the blobbiness?
if it's sculpted then I'd be careful about distorting the silhouette too much while doing so.. the walls in the reference do have irregularities.. but they are still pretty straight

Cool choice for a scene, I spend hours in mos espa on the Phantom menace on PS1

I think for now your houses looks like made of stones. If you look at picture of the film sets you can see it's a kind of coating. It need to be way more subtle than what you have now! Keep it up
