It's time for another round of "What is this game that I'm vaguely describing"

A friend is trying to remember an old adventure game. The Twitter community sees to be out of ideas so I'm looking further afield.

The clues we have to go on: early adventure game - probably late 80s early 90s. Cyberpunk-ish. "gross" (gory, I'm assuming). Humourous. A lot of fluoro green and black. White on black inventory grid. thin male protagonist. You get a severed hand as an inventory item at some stage.

We've gone through a lot of games. It's either something pretty obscure or something so obvious we're skipping over it.

Suggestions?
