Zbrush recovery files

SO I was working on a creature in Zbrush , high polycount etc ... when I try to merge the body part with some subtools I created and worked on aside the Zbrush crashes and says it saved a copy of the workinpgogress...

but when I load it lacks the Editing and is just an image and the subtools I created are not present in the side ... The image is the one shows the model I was working on, but not the tool ... I am not expert in zbrush but how can I recover the model I was working on?

I'm not entirely sure what you're saying. When you load the recovery file your tool isn't there? Did you try clicking the active subtool and seeing if its in the list of tools? If you saved a project file it might be n there.

Just a good rule of thumb, save often! Usually recovery files are behind and sometimes they're corrupted.
