Hey, I have shading problems with some of my Models and I dont know, how to fix it or why they are there. Searched for so long, but didn't find an answer for that.
The sharp shadows are looking pretty unhealthy, you can see them in Renderings, in the viewport and I think the problems destroys my normalMap-baking.
I tried to fix it with some exports to zbrush, max14, maya, but it is still not okay...

On a side note, how's it look in your target engine? That's all that matters, and you should be viewing it there to check its integrity anyway.
Can you show the low poly with individual face shading (each face on its own smoothing group) and the high poly smoothed, how do they look without any maps?
Other than that, have you set sharp edges in areas where your UV splits are?
Here are four more Pictures, with another model of mine, where it happens.
Picure 5 is the unsmoothed model, Picture 4 is the highpoly and picute 3 is the lowpoly without any map...
hmm there are no Overlapping faces or n-gons in it, I studied to create valid models and solve problems like that, but now im really helpless
