So since i'm teaching myself how to model through a lot of online programs and what not since i can't afford a regular college for this subject i figured i should start getting my demo reel started. However i'm trying to think of some good things to make for it and came here hoping i would get some inspiration or ideas that would be good for a demo reel. Thanks for any replies!

Firstly, what do you want to focus on, environments or characters? (Or is it too early to decide?)
But yeah, really, when it comes down to it, penis tank.
I'm not sure what i want to focus on yet, as you said it's too early so i'd be open to both and see what ones i like better.
Or a penis tank.
Oh i guess i will have to make an account on there then and do as you said, and side question, from those images do you model right from them or make like a layout of it to make it easier to model?
And of course the penis tank will have to be made.

Try to start with simple stuff, a clock, a chest, a well, etc. taking a prop from concept to completion, (high to low poly, textures.) As you progress you can build up to bigger projects and you'll figure out what you enjoy doing more.
Oh wow thanks! Those are awesome links and i am definitely going to make some stuff out of those, i just need to work on the texture part as well since i'm not familiar with that as much.
maybe start with a crate, then a barrel, then maybe a oil canister with a more complicated form and then transit to something more difficult and so on. Small achievable goals.
Either one preferably, I'd like to get practice with both.
