Hi Polycount! I just finished working on my Honours project which was a Steampunk styled game environment assembled in custom engine made by another Student.
At the moment I am working on my evaluation and would appreciate any type of feedback or criticism.
(More shots from the game engine

And these are the assets rendered individually in Marmoset
(Rest of the assets are now in my portfolio at

Thanks for your input! For those who want to be SUPER helpful, you can leave me more feedback here

Thanks a lot!!!

Probably the engine's limitation, it has no material definition, like all color map. Making everything looking out-dated. Your individual shots do show some definition tho so that's good.
The weathering of your pieces don't quite make sense to me. Take the Steam Engine for example. What you have looks like an oily grimes. However that specific engine doesn't seem to need oil since it has no moving parts. I'd take a look at something like this as reference instead. Dust, wear, tear and rust are probably what I would be expecting from it.
Great stuff man
@Direwolf - Thanks for your input man, just about the texturing example, I am pretty sure you linked the same steam engine in the reference you wanted to show :}.
