Hey guys! I would love some feedback on my showreel! I am graduating in a matter of weeks and would really appreciate what you guys have to say about my showreel! cheers in advance!

Nothing to earth shattering, might land you a spot somewhere but I didn't see anything that blew my mind. (action was standard stuff, walk was standard, and robot walk had some clipping issues....)

If your going to show off superheroes fighting....man show some ACTION! That punch should be FELT, I want to see that dude go flyin after he got hit! Watch some incredibles or Man of Steel for insperation. Good luck.

Thank you for the feedback man!! Really appreciate it! And thanks I can see what your saying.i love the man of steel fight would love to do something like that. And I think I am missing that "mind blowing" action. Been working to get to this standard for a while, and I want to improve as much as I can so thanks for the pointers! Need to add that edge to my work!

Hi mate, congratulation on your graduation!

Putting aside the fact that your reel is a bit generic, my overall feeling is that your animations are lacking weight. Going back and improving your timing and spacing would be a good idea before you send your reel.

I also believe you should completly remove the "save the children fight scene". I'm assuming it might be one of your earlier animation, and at this point it his hurting you more than it is doing any good. Keep it mind that your reel is only as good as your worst piece. Therefore favor quality over quantity.

Edit: I also forgot to mention that we have an animation section on polycount now! You might get more critique over there. Cheers!

Thank you mate! And yeah i see what your saying about it being generic . And I'm always trying to improve so I will work on my timing and spacing. And I know it is by far the weakest piece on there, now all my uni work is out of the way I can focus more on beefing up my showreel so it will be the first out once I've done some better work. Thanks for the help man! Really appreciated!
