Hi everyone,
I've been trying to do some animated textures (in my case water ripples from rain) in substance.
I've more or less managed to get some kind of simple animated effect using the $time function, but I've hit a wall to get some more complex things.
And I can't seem to find any useful documentation anywhere.
So far I've managed to get a simple ripple to spread nicely, but :
- I don't know how to make it loop
- when I try to scatter multiple ripples on my texture, either with a scatter or a fx map, I've no idea how to offset the timing between instances.
I would really appreciate any type of help
especially to offset the time on each instance in a scatter or fxmap.

On what node are you adding the randomness to ?
