Graphic Designer

Future Games of London is a studio that designs, develops and publishes Smartphone and Tablet games. Founded in September 2009 and acquired by Ubisoft in 2013, FGOL create wholly owned and original IP, which have achieved over 180 million downloads worldwide.
You will be expected to understand transmedia campaigns and the balancing of assets. Working with the Marketing Manager and the Art Department will also be part of your daily routine.
The position would suit a middle weight graphic designer with good 3D skills looking for a job in the game industry. This position is available immediately.

Experience
- At least 2 year professional experience in a creative agency
- Some commercial experience in a game studio
- Experience in meeting tight deadlines and juggling various projects with ease
- Experience with marketing campaigns online and offline
- Working knowledge of the mobile games industry, trends and good practices
Responsibilities
- Working closely with the Marketing Manager to develop a consistent image for the company across projects
- Visualise FGOL’s products to a broad audience as well as to corporate clients, depending on needs
- Follow the creative process of marketing assets from the beginning by liaising directly with 3D artists and the development team to source the initial assets: in some cases you will be required to light and pose 3D models or set up a scene using in game assets
- Help the Art Department with modelling and rendering tasks if and when required
- Create assets for campaigns across web, mobile and traditional media juggling successfully the production of assets in different formats
- Respond to any ad hoc request from the team in a clear and concise manner
- Produce written and detailed information on each project / campaign
- Make sure that files and folders are always well organised
- Assist the Marketing Manager in the relation with external contractors and creative agencies
Skills
- Excellent knowledge of graphic and design softwares such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- Working knowledge of 3D Studio Max or other modelling and rendering softwares

- Ability to create and edit short videos (FinalCut, AfterEffects, Premiere)
- Evidence of communication skills and knowledge of how to liaise with other professionals
- Ability to behave in a calm, professional and responsible way at all times
- Confident in working with deadlines and evolving objectives
Plus
- Interest in games, digital marketing and new technologies
- Knowledge of social media management and digital marketing practices (ie: TwitterDeck, Hootsuite, CIM, Hubspot, SmartInsights, Google Analytics)
- Languages
