SO a few things, the work on it is alright but I think your biggest thing would be presentation. Everything is very cluttered and not presented to the viewer in a comfortable manner. I think adjusting your layout and creating a unified way to represent all your work will make your website a lot stronger. Then some of your screenshots are weird just in themselves taken at weird angles so the work isn't shown at it's best. Fixing presentation would be the best and then the work on it is pretty alright, I think the sci fi hallway is a little too reflective just a little mirror like, the swords are really cool awesome work there and the mo cap stuff is alright I'm not a mocap guy so I can't say too much about that but yeah!

You have some pretty good work just make sure it is presented well.

Hello Ben, here is my opinion:

    - Landing page: There's a grey button that is not doing anything when I click. Best to remove that.

    - When I scroll down, I question if you want to be a general 3D, asset or environment artist. If you want to focus on being an asset/environment artist, you shouldn't put your mo cap animation stuff. If you want to be a generalist and demonstrate you can do all disciplines, you should label yourself like a general 3D artist and have some character modeling.

    - In your top most header, you can add in 3D asset artist (depending on what you want to be)- Ben Marino instead of portfolio Ben Marino. It is helpful for employers who are busy to immediately know what kind of artist you are.

    - Some pictures are too small when I click your thumbnails - can't see your work clearly.

    - separate your environment and assets to their own pages or group them properly in 1 page. There are many portfolio styles to reference.

    Onward to your work:
    - Best to put a form of contact (email or website) and your name on your work. Some peoples may save your picture as a reference and if they wan to track down who made them, they can contact you easily.

    - for a 3D artist, breakdowns are important. You need to show at least your asset wireframes and texture maps, not just shaders. If you cite that you are proficient in UV unwrapping/textures, people will want to see how you did them.

    - I am not an environmental artist, but I believe you can further improve on your texturing. You seem to like realistic styles as opposed to hand painted. That is limiting your option to be versatile in a few styles unless you intend to only do realism. In both cases, you need to improve on your wear and tear as most of the assets look too clean and lack enough specular like the glass bottle etc.

    My favourite pieces:
    - sword which has a close resemblance of your reference, shows that you can follow concepts closely.
    - sci fi hall way, best textures and lighting so far.
    - sci fi crate

Church piece is doing you a great disservice with regards to your abilities, I advise against putting it up. The bar could be salvaged if lit better and textures improved.

It's a long WOT but I hope this will help you.
