Wondering if anyone could help me solve this mystery. I'm sculpting in ZBrush with X axis mirroring on. But my strokes aren't always being mirrored accurately on the opposite side. The problem area seems to be the inner eye. When my strokes cross that area, it's as if mirroring is turned off. Please see attached image.
I've never encountered this issue before. Can anyone tell me what's going on?

I have, and it doesn't seem to fix anything. The attached image was conducted with local symmetry turned on. Not sure how to check if the model is centered in world space - maybe that has something to do with it?
So it goes something like this Deformation --> Smart-resim x, y, or z
Try an experiment. Load another mesh and see if the problem persists in other files.
