Not that I know of. It depends on what the program you're using has defined. Some might call the default Windows one, but some might go for their own version.
You might be able to override half of 'em, maybe, in a hacky way, but stuff like Photoshop rolls it's own.
DirectFolders is great. However both Photoshop and 3ds Max use weird dialogs which defeat it somehow. Wish there was a solution for this. DirectFolders is otherwise perfect for me.
Weird, same setup as you, but still can't access it. Tried adding PS in DF's Applications tab, tried adjusting PS prefs, tried adjusting Windows prefs.
Hmm must be something particular to my setup. FolderMenu won't work in Photoshop's explorer either. I thought it might be Classic Start Menu, but uninstalling it didn't fix it. Going to try Listary next. Thanks for the links!

mmh. i use win 8.1 and ps cs4 and FolderMenu works fine. there is no tool i use, where it does not work. strange.

I wish there was an OS option for those programs though. Maya has an OS dialog option.
