First Character!

Hey guys! So my first character how exciting! Im sure the anatomy is screwed or not really there, and her proportions are skewed to all hell but I hope you guys like what I've come up with. I even got to toy around with some new programs as well! Rendered in marmoset! Cheers!

It looks nice for first character . Good job, as you said, there are some problems with anatomy. Textures also. for example i know she supposed to be dirty all over, but it looks like shes very hairy, like... VERY hairy, on her legs, chest and so on

Hahah I totally never looked at it like that! I have a height map so it's giving it some depth to the dirt and it totally looks like it. Dammit haha!

Why did you give dirt a height mask? Isn't it too small to be of difference for a height mask?

This could benefit with a little more contrast in the clothing, currently her outfit is grey grey grey. If you made her shorts closer to black or another dark, saturated color it would all come together!

Hey Brian, Umm I just wanted the dirt to be caked on but I could've done it with a normal and should have I suppose. Noob mistake =P My apologies. Thanks Revocare for the tip i'll give it a shot!

Do you have any subsurface or transparency maps going on for the skin? It would definitely help separate the skin out more.

Also, I'd pay attention to color zones for the skin. Noisy it up, right now it reads as very flat, even with the dirt. http://gurneyjourney.blogspot.com/2008/05/color-zones-of-face.html
