I was wondering if anyone have a good workflow to share when it comes to dealing with max cages (projection mod) when a change is needed to be done on the low poly mesh. More in detail I am referring to when a change needs to be done to the low poly mesh that would reset the cage that is currently setup.
I know I can export the cage and then import it again to the projection modifier, but it is important that the vertex numbers match with low poly if one wants to utilize external bakes as well (for example xnormal).
So if anyone that regularly use projection cages in max to bake maps , in or outside of max, has a workflow to share... well please do
