Hi guys! I drew a fishman and thought it looked pretty funny, so I made a ZBrush version too. I'm still learning about rendering passes (some subtools had no, or horrible shadows?) and compositing them in photoshop but the sculpting part was fun!
Nice and fun concept! The sculpt looks detailed and accurate as well. The pose you have in your drawing is good in a way that it shows the interesting shape of your creature. The front-render makes it look flat and it's even difficult to see what I'm looking at. I would really like to see a low poly of this with proper maps in engine or similar! You would be able to use a roughness map for the shiny, slimy skin and normal for the scales and wrinkles.
