Eh all,
I have a question on how I might go about doing something. From the attached pictures, I have a pine tree with branches that I'm very happy with, and I'm happy with the mapped UVs as well.
My question: what would I have to come up with to place , for example, small rectangle planes along every branch, specific to the texture. So like I could have extra needle detail horizontal to each branch mesh. Or even better for high end render views, use a 6-7 way cross at every desired point on every branch on the tree.
Could I do it by hand for one branch, and copy it to all others? Or maybe have it run via the texture itself to place crosses at every point on every branch?
Or is this just all crazy talk and I'll have to make the higher poly branches, and redo the whole tree with them branch by branch?
