Maya 2016 font size

Hello guys.
I know autodesk made some weird moves with the fonts sizes.

And the main pain is the font size on the shelf icons LABLE. The text is tooo small for me, way smaller than in maya 2015. I was looking for some time for solution. I would be gratefull if some one can help, how to change font size on these self icons LABLES ? Can we open some MEL files and do it manually or something ? Thanks in advance.

Kind of a hacky answer, but you could always make your own icons for the ones you use text on. Just take whatever the bmp icon they use for the given tool is, and then add the text in photoshop, and save it out to a new name, and then apply it to the shelf tool you want. Gives you all the control you could possibly want, admittedly for a little more effort.

You can scale the UI in 2016. It's in Windows>Settings/Preferences>Interface

Scaling options in maya are not cool because it scales also icons and when i do this they look blury

yes creating own icons for shelf its cool. To many icons to make but It can be done

anyway I found how to change text size.

Looks like an old solution but it works also with maya 2016. They've scaled default text size from 12 to 11.
