First of all, I can't get the opacity settings in Painter to work at all, no matter what I do.

Secondly, refer to the above image. The bottom-right opacity and emissive setting is what I'm shooting for. Unfortunately, I can't recreate it. I literally lowered the emissive on the green cylinder down from 100 to 22 and saw this opacity setting of some sort finally show through. I was shocked. Then I began rotating the camera/object/lighting around to get a screen shot of the other angle ... and now the full green is back! In other words, the opacity of the green cylinder on the bottom-left. Now ... no matter what setting I go to, it's stuck on showing opaque green. The emissive setting now simply adjusts opacity. Which is what you expect it to do of course, but I just want to get this opacity thing to work so I can this see through effect going again.

Any help? Thanks.

Edit: I eventually found the video explaining new features in 1.3 which tells you to select a new shader. That was my main issue. After some tweaking I eventually managed a good result. If nothing else, I assume it was a bug that it worked with the default shader for a second before moving the camera. It happened again a second time before I discovered the other shaders where I simply clicked something, saw the transparency working, then it disappeared as soon as I moving the camera a bit.
