Hey guys! I'm a third year environment artist studying at Teesside Uni and for my final year project I recreated the Rec room from the movie Alien within UE4.
My work on this for my handin is completed now but I have a expo coming up in a few weeks where I'd like to show it off and I wondered if you guys had any suggestions for tweaks and changes I could make.

For me the weakest areas currently are the feathers/water birds in the middle of the table and some of the grotty pipework near the door arches, Im currently in the process of fixing them. Also some of the blander texturing will be reworked on the sofas and table, probably including a new high poly for the chairs.
I'd like to get a bit more of a 'lived in' vibe going in the scene. More scuffs/scratches in areas of high traffic, plus a bit more cloth in the scene, Brett's cap and Dallas's jacket for example but I'd love to hear what you guys think and hear any suggestions/improvements I could make.
Thanks!

All in all great work, and from a student too, very cool!
Thanks man, I'll be putting in new pipework work very soon. Now you mention it there is a ton of compression on those Imgur links, can't believe I didn't notice it before. I guess I should have hosted off my site instead. Thanks again for the kind words!
I think getting that "lived in" vibe by adding some clutter and dirt and other such things will definitely push this a lot farther.
Also, do you have reference that you used for this that we could look at to compare?
I use Imgur too. If the image is over 5mb then there's lossy compression. Other than that you should be fine. This question was answered here.
Take note of how you export your images from whatever program you're working with. That may be the solution to the color bandings, etc.
Never have I hid in any GAME longer than this one out of pure fear. Keep up the bad work!
