You just have to not give up and keep at it. It's definitely not going to be easy you'll have to dig really deep and work.
It's easier to feel hopeless than it is to do the work. Don't give up, you may fail 100 times but if you give up you'll never succeed. If you try another 100 times you still have a chance.

Well I might be in the same boat as you are. I might post a new tread about this to get better feedback from people on these forums without getting the full load.
I'am 3d modelling already for 8+ years And I can't even model a human character.
I do a lot of hard edge modelling especially for rts games. I might be specialized to much in LOW POLY modelling between 2500 and 20000 polygons.
But I have to be honest sometimes I'am so de-motivated I could cry...
Especially when you are almost 2 years jobless. (also because medical issues).
