Substance Painter 1.3.3 - Adding Substance Effect

Hey guys,

i want to add a substance effect to a mask. but in the drop down menu this option isnt available for me. where can i find it or what iam doing wrong?

the only options i can choose are:

-generator
-fill
-levels
-filter

Substance effects are now split into two categories:
- generator (mask generators)
- filter (blur, sharpen, warp...)

I apologize for reviving an older thread, I am unable to create a new one. But I do have a question in reference to the Substance Effect in Substance Painter. The newer versions of Substance painter have the Substance effects split into 2 categories, but what I am specifically looking for is the id_selector option that used to be under the substance effect. Does anyone know where this option is in the 1.4?

This filter has been replaced by a built-in feature:
Right click on a layer and choose Create Mask with color selection.
You can also apply the selection when you have a mask selected, through the effect icon (Color Selection).
