Just trying to spiffy up my skyboxes and I noticed that I'm still making them like I did 10 years ago, either a single envMap cube, or a hemisphere with bad mapping on the very top, and to be quite honest I'm just not gonna stand for it.
So, while I sit down... Whats the general though behind the best way to make them these days? Keep in mind I mean just the sky, not the far terrain in the sky, and that I will be looking for moving effects, clouds etc.
Thanks awfully! Pip pip!
