Hi guys!
I'm Simone and I've recently attended the mentorship program at Think Tank Training Centre in North Vancouver, Canada.
I am an environment artist and I would like to show you my demo reel.
Let me know what do you think about it.

Here is the link on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/124546829

and this is my website: www.simoneurbano.com

Thanks for your time! :)

    Hey!
The work you have here is truly gorgeous! The video is well put together, and not too long either. The only criticism I have is that you only show one type of environment. Someone looking to hire you may be shortsighted and think "this person can only do jungles/ruins/temples." You may wanna add some other types of landscapes.

In any case, everything you have here is remarkable! I only have qualms with what it not here.

    Thanks guys!
SuicidePanda you're totally right! I'm working on a second piece right now, is going to be a sci-fi vehicle in a warehouse maybe. I think in this way I can show my skills on different kind of assets and materials.
    Thanks for your advice!

First, I noticed a little bug: your LinkedIn page link is broken! It redirects to the 'edit my profile' page.

Second, I'm a big fan of the environment and the breakdowns. I've been talking with my instructors at school about portfolios quite a lot lately, and all of them agree that people want to see HOW you're getting your results. They also said they'd rather see one or two top-notch pieces than several mediocre ones, and I think you've hit that quality bar!

One other thing I'd suggest. I think your 'Environment Art' page should be a plain list of images, like the breakdown page. The little slider gadget is cool, but people can take in your work much faster if they can scroll up and down and see all the pictures.
