Hi guys,

Requirements:

+ 3-5 years experience minumin
+ 3ds max user
+ cartoon/ medi evil style work in portfolio
+ high poly rendering experience
+ character modeling skills
+ environment skills for vegetation and rocks
+ ability to paint textures by hand
+ available for the next 4-6 month starting immediately


The job includes mainly creation of buildings which feature characters in their structures. There will be big statues and for exammple a huge head will be used as an entrance. The look and feel is a mix between cartoon and medi evil style. Around the buildings there will also be vegetation and some other smaller assets.

All assets wil be rendered in 3ds max and later implemented as 2D images ingame.

    FYI, I deleted all the posts which did not follow the Freelance Jobs Rules.
    3. DO NOT reply to threads if you do not have a relevant question, ie: "What is the length of the contract" "Do you require specific software" ect. The freelance board is not a place for critique, or other non-work-related questions or comments.

    4. DO NOT reply simply to state that you've applied/sent an email. These sort of responses should be kept to the private message system if you feel the need. Generally this is viewed as a bit unprofessional, so you may be better to refrain from doing this at all.

    5. DO NOT post images from your portfolio, or links to your portfolio in a company's threads. If you want to apply, you should email them directly with either a link to your portfolio, your portfolio attached, or PM them a link to your portfolio.

    Sounds awesome and well suited for the talent we have over here but just to clarify a few points:

    * High poly Rendering xp: Do you have a renderer in mind(Vray vs Mental Ray vs speedshot, etc etc)
    * Because of the long term nature of this, are you looking for remote people or in-house?
    * What engine are you working with? Would you also be looking for whoever to help setup the materials in the engine for the assets being created?
