Hello
I've been making some grass in Max, I'm happy with it but when I start to bake a normal map it looks kinda thinner and it makes some blades disappear. I also did a quick render in Max with F10 and I see the same problem. Why is that?
High Poly (Front view from Max)

Normal (Baked in 4k, downres + black bg for better view)

F10

how should it render something that is not there?
Object Properties has Backface Culling off by default, which makes meshes 2-sided in the viewport, but not in the render. I always set the Preferences to enable this by default, to avoid this kind of problem.
@Eric Chadwick, Thank you. It actually solved the problem when rendering in Max itself but when baking normal map it still consider them as 1 sided blades and the same problem as before.
