This is driving me completely nuts. I cannot figure out why my OBJs aren't previewing in 3DO properly.
For simplicity I created a simple sphere in Maya, triangulated it and exported.
Load it into DDO with just the mesh information and no other maps. Then if if add a material, or even a flat color. 3DO does not update.
I tried this same exact process with the OBJ from the example files, and it works. What the heck am I missing here?
note: when refreshing 3DO with my OBJs, a pop window that says Rendering Normals stays at 25%. This does not happen with the example AK OBJ file.

Make sure your source files are on your local drive.
Sorry for being a bit late here, but good that you found the answer yourself. And in 10 minutes as well, that´s probably quicker than if I would have helped you anyway
