hello polycount.

so in short im making an enemy for a game.the enemy will be part of a group who are classified as "the corrupted". the corrupted are humans who are being controlled by a demon god.

about the corrupted

a corrupted human will act somewhat like a zombie although will fear sunlight and will have glowing green eyes. once the demon master is slain the corrupted will either die, lose their memory or return to their normal state although with traumas and nightmares.

here is the concept and yea i know i suck at photoshop.

and for his face and clothing this is the kind of feel im going for.

you may want to have a close look at that and check your character to the bones there

also get tons of more reference, make a moodboard, sketch his clothes
the more visual stuff you have nailed down BEFORE sculpting the better the concept will look like in final...

good preparation is everything! your concept skecth and that one picture are very vague
if you have a really really good plan about how the concept looks like, the result will also be much more convinving.
right now it looks like you had an idea for the head took a basic human mesh added some scratches and random clothes... righ tnow there is also nothing from your reference image in the sculpt....

    hope this helps :)

    The second try is better.
At this stage you can get a lot out of making sculpt sketches of the human form. All of the really best horror characters have a really solid base in anatomy. Knowing as much as you can about form will give your character weight and presence.

    Keep trukin' !

here is the model rendered realtime in the unity engine.

i really enjoyed making this character and now i know how to full make a character much faster than i could before and this will help me when making other assets. also thanks guys
its nice to see people who are interested in helping out.

The anatomy in his right arm got messed up when you posed it. Also, his proportions are a bit odd in the first place. I think his head just might be a bit small which makes him seem like he's at least 6'6". And I would revisit his toes and hands I think, they seems a bit off (his toes are too straight and his hands are very very big).
