
Hi everyone. As you can see in the above image I have local reflections on the water. The problem is it looks like there is no roof on the hanger.

To see more clearly what the reflections are doing I put this test material on the water to just show the reflections and it clearly shows a lot of annoying occlusion happening.
Thanks for any ideas on getting a solution to this

Christoph: We're looking into some solutions for handling this better in the future, we would like to keep everything realtime with no pre-baking though so IBL probes are probably not the direction we will take.
Cubemaps won't help you much either. They are point-sources of reflection and you'll run into issues with contact reflections, trading benefits for short-comings, etc. Raytracing is the answer, obviously. But
