About Us:
Reach Game Studios Pty. Ltd. is a game development studio based in Sydney, Australia. We're a fresh-faced, but veteran on the inside. Our team have worked on some of the biggest games in the business, from Call of Duty to the Unchartedseries and beyond. Right now the studio is working on GLORY™, an online-based, open-world RPG shooter, currently scheduled to release FY 2016/7 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

Reach Game Studios is a certified PlayStation(R)4 and Xbox One developer.

Positions:

  • Lead Multiplayer Designer
Reach is looking for a talented game designer with senior production and project management skills to head up the team for Glory's competitive multiplayer component.

The lead multiplayer designer will provide game design direction and leadership for their med-to-large sized team. You'll work on new modes, multiplayer attractions, maps, and stories to tell in our multi-faceted universe.

Working with the larger Glory team you'll be responsible for working with the story and content teams to provide a solid, consistent experience across modes of play.

  • World/Level Artists (inc. Senior positions)
Reach is looking for talented world artsts to bring the stories and experiences in the Glory universe to life.

As a world artist, you'll work in and out of the engine to bring your player psychology, map design, and 3D skills to the forefront. You'll be mapping and creating custom key art for these locations, and lighting these levels within the engine.

You'll finish transforming these locales to life by using your keen eye to polish these levels with details, decals, and other dynamic objects.

A solid understanding of and experience with the Unreal Engine toolset is required for this position.

  • Character Artists (inc. Senior Positions)
Reach is looking for talented character artists to bring the rich characters of Glory to life.

As a character artist, you'll be working with the art and story teams to take character concepts and other reference material and flesh it out into beautiful models fit for next-generation platforms.

You'll work with designers, engineers and artists to take into account the entire workflow of a character: from story to design (inc. movement, style, etc.) to animation and finally technical implementation, all while ensuring that our high level of quality is met.

  • Concept Artists (Environmental and Organic (i.e. Characters))
Reach is looking for fantastically talented concept artists to immerse the team into a rich and wonderful world through your gorgeous artwork.

As a concept artist, you'll collaborate with designers, other artists, and team leads to produce quality designs that reflect the artistic style of the game.

You'll do this by creating new concept art pieces, take criticism and upgrade them, and also work within templates for workflow purposes (such as sketches, model sheets, storyboards etc).

You're as good an artist as you are a communicator, and have a high command of the English language.
