Hello! I recently installed Maya 2015 and am trying to unwrap a small low poly model. I'm using the standard checker texture to check my UVs and am running into an issue everytime I use planar projection. Once I apply a planar projection the texture appears as a default grey in the uv editor and any changes I make in the uv editor don't update in the viewport. When I don't apply any uv mapping the checker pattern appears fine in the editor and if I move UVs around it updates in the viewport. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
