Unity particle systems: Particle fade/ distance to camera

Some friends approached me about making an effect for their project in Unity and I had some questions before I give them an answer and jump into it. They are making a suspense/horror explorer game, and they asked if I could make some ambient fog that fades as you get closer to it. Does Shuriken/Unity have the ability to easily set up some kind of camera distance link to particles? I'd like to have the fog's opacity decrease closer to the camera, and solidify the farther away you get.

I admit I have yet to jump into Unity yet to find out myself (been working in Unreal for a few years) and there was no "Particles" or "VFX" section that I could find in the Unity community forums :/

Any kind of insight would be helpful for this.
