Anatomy Study - Elderly Face

Hey guys,

Thought I'd post up one of my current projects for crit, it's an anatomy study of an elderly male face. The chest and the back of the head still have quite a way to go but I feel that it's at a decent enough stage to get some pointers.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

There's no proper bone foundation that I can see in this sculpt. You captured the details but forgot the basics. Establish the bones and all essential muscles first before getting into any likeness.

Sorry for the late reply, only just found some time to get back to this.

Thanks very much for taking the time to offer some crit, I've tried to work up the facial forms some more, hopefully there's some improvement.

Just thought I'd post an update, still a few details to go, such as sculpting the eyebrows, adding moles etc. Eye texture needs a re-do, but it's starting to really take shape I think

The profile horizontal length of the head is too scrunchy. Lengthen it out!

Just thought I'd update the thread with the final render. I'd have liked to put some more time into it given the opportunity but had to devote time to other uni deadlines. Quite happy with the results though
