Hey Quixel Team,
I got an annoying issue when it comes to the texturing part of my asset.. I've created the color ID map from my UVmap in maya and exported the necessary .obj and coloridmap as .png
When I import the mesh in DDO and then import the color id map and giving each color a material an click on render I never get equipped each part of my model wth a material- means that some parts are still missing..
I tried to rerender the project via the 'Reimporter' button and give another material but it doesn't work...
When I close the Suite and PS and reopen it- no change; when I delete the whole project and recreate it- other parts a missing..
I hope the problem is clear.. If needed, I can provide the sourcefiles (obj, color-idmap, project files from quixel)..
Thanks anyway for such a nice piece of software.
cheers, currve

Thanks for the question. DDO actually finds all the colors (as can be seen in the ID Link Editor) but some of the materials are not generated simply because they are not part of that specific material preset. To make sure all IDs get their own base layers upon generation, make sure to check "Create base layers" in the Options dropdown. Or simply attach Smart Materials to the missing IDs by Shift+C-clicking the material ID in 3DO.
Let me know if this cleared things up!
Thanks again,

Everything works fine now!
I'd unchecked the "Create base layers" in the Options dropdown menu. That fixed my issue. Thank you for the superb support.
