3Ds Max skylight not always working

Hi there.
This annoying problem is ruining my day. Skylight doesn't seem to want to work most of the time i add it into my scene. I tried restarting, unfreezing, unhiding, changing shader, changing view. When i say not working, i mean it doens't do anything to change my scene. Had this problem since yesturday and never had it before.
Any help would be super serial.
