Handpainted walking house

Hey polycount community !

I want to show you my new personnal project, the walking house
There are just rough textures and I will add some little props.

Any suggestions/critics about textures or models are welcome !
Don't hesitate to give me any ideas about items to add on the house

Hahaha I really like the idea !!!! Do you plan to animate it ? About your texturing I think it's will be cool if you add more color variation. And mayba you can push the metal light

I dig this fella. The scale of the boards on the roof is throwing me though. Especially compared to the door.

I love the concept and the texturing, great job! But i wonder how well the current texturing works if you are going to animate it. Would the 3d smoke and static highlight texturing still look believable when it moves?

Very nice progress. I would suggest a particle effect or just static alphas for the smoke. Right now it looks like an extension of the exhaust pipe/chimney thing. Or you could give that smoke more geo, and really paint in that detail.

@Hupie : For the highlight texturing I think it's ok, maybe I will dim lights a bit.
And for the smoke maybe we could rig it to give more life.

@Snafubar7 : I will try the static alpha to see the difference but I think this cartoon smoke works with the house style So paint in that detail is a good idea

For the next step I will add some props in the environment and finish the textures (especially under the feet).
