Ok i am started yesterday i get my pen tablet and now i am ready to move on with some paint and i dont know nothing about it so i wont to learn some hand paint and here is my pic of start
Well,
actually you have to watch it more as approach to paint than using Blender, if you know what I mean.
Anyway, just do a search on the forum, there are many topics about texture painting and, especially, wood texture.
You need to just start painting stuff. Work on your crate.
Gather a bunch of images of other people's work and study them to see what they're doing and start posting your progress. Study where people put in their highlights and shadows. What do they do when dealing with metal vs wood? Even better, watch time lapses of people painting. Just some things you should be thinking about when studying.
You seem to get hung up a lot on what TOOLS people are using, rather than their METHODS. You've mentioned twice that the tutorial is being done in Blender and that you don't know how to use Blender. That is irrelevant.
He is using only 2 variations of the same brush in Blender. You are using Photoshop, you have access to the same exact brushes as he does.
Watch what he does to get the results he gets and do your best to imitate them. Once you get the hang of it, start experimenting with stuff of your own (your crate!).
Also, there are FIVE wood tutorials (two of which are even time lapse gifs) I can see on the link Eric sent you and all of them load perfectly fine. You need to stop trying to slap down help that is being passed to you with excuses and just start painting.
Woow this is expiring awesome tnx for let me know what to do and yes i fight with colors what to use how to make shadows and yeah i use PS and i will see how much will i go because i cant model and create game and make textures in same time
I have some problem with my Photoshop its get on my nerves sometimes when i paint its get a lag or when i paint when i pull up my pen then paint is rendered or how i explain its wary hard to explain its like u make a line but the line is not there till u pull up the pen from tablet then its applied how to paint normaly without a lag or that stuff what ever is it called ?
Hardware looks OK, except for the tablet which may have a badly-written driver. The driver is extremely important for Photoshop to recognize the tablet properly. Do you have the latest available tablet driver? And which version of Photoshop?
Also, what fixes have you tried so far? Have you tried googling for solutions yet? If you search for photoshop tablet lag huion there seems to be a series of possible fixes.
Yeah i found the fix for driver now its working but the new problem wile texturing its geting lagy and somehow freezes i have set the efficiency to show and wile i texture its geting below 70% and start laging and stuff -_-
Woow tnx yeah i try my best to use to colors because i am not artist i am designer 3d but i will keep trying and posting my work as a inspiration everything can be done on little training
Looks good. Though the white models are making it really hard to see your paint work, because they're so damn bright. One way to do this is a light colored wireframe on top of the textured model. Like this, just to pick a recent example: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2357035&postcount=6918

I moved your thread to 2D Showcase since this is less about technical issues, and more about getting feedback on your 2D technique and process.
