I´m a young GameFX Artist and new at the Industry. I will upgrade my skills for creating VFX Textures. We used a simple GameEngine why i can´t do many with the Shader.
Also I will push more over the Texture (and the FX Animation), but i have not really a idea how i can push this Textures.
I can use many different Software for FX Texture.
- Maya for Fluids Creation
- After Effects for Sprite and Animated Textures
- Photoshop
Here two example of differnet kinds of my FX textures.
Left for a soft Attack swing and right for hard quick impact Ring.
Have anything idea or tips for me write it down.

Yes i looked many Games or effect break downs and analyse this sometimes frame per frame.
But this will not really help for create FX Textures from scratch.
I have seen some Texture but you i will learn how to create something like that. I´m not a good Drawing Artist that why i will learn it for this FX Textures.
