Lunar scanner WIP

Hey guys!
Today I'm going to start working on this little thing. I am no concept artist so my painting skills are limited, but here's a quick moodboard / blockout!
I'm in love with old 80s retrofuturism (Alien Isolation, Routine, Blade Runner etc) and that's the kind of artstyle I'm going towards!
It's loosely based on the CAT gun in Routine, an upcoming horror game set in a lunar station in the 80s (I think?)
While I'm currently wokring as a 3D artist intern this project will have to be done on my spare time, but I'll try to work on it as much as I can!
Don't think I'll follow the concept at 100%, maybe add or remove some things here and there!
