Dynamask unable to edit mask layers.

Hi guys!
First of all I am really loving the new Ddo. It has sped up my workflow no end and the results are fantastic!
I have been encountering an error on the project I am working on today in which Ddo does not seem to be able to edit any of the masks in dynamask. I simply get the following error:
-The object "black channel of merged layer of document "PU-ytqF-TC"" is not currently available.
It seems to be throwing this error on every mask however, not just the one specified. I can't quite seem to get around this.
Any ideas?
