My insert brush is rotated awkwardly. I pressed on unify and made sure it was aligning to the floor grid before creating it. What else could I be doing wrong?
Insert mesh orientation is derived from the camera/screen, not the floor. So snap it to the view that you would expect to see when placing it right on the screen in front of you and then create the brush.
i am having a similar problem. when inserting a cube and hitting shift the insert brush will generate from the surface normal and nt the world orientation. how can i generate the mesh from the angle of view and not the normal?
