Yeah! I've done just over an hour so far and I am loving it. I just finished the first one this week so it's been great to get more o fit. I love the story telling and play changes with this one.
I binged on it last night. I loved it. It has a different feel than the first as far as level design goes, but still really enjoyable. The way they handle the storytelling is great, and the soundtrack is godlike. Right into my veins.
I started playing last night but decided to hold off until i have enough free time to play through it in one sitting. First one was my game of the year for sure so i wanna go through #2 as a single experience!
Anyone know where to get the soundtrack? All i could find were a couple tracks here and there or the 60$ collectors set
Amazing so far. People are hating on it for the story, but in reality, if you are playing this game purely for the story you are in it for the wrong reasons. TONs of fun so far, and incredibly difficult but has me addicted to say the least. Best $15 I have spent this year, hands down.
The soundtrack for the first was one of my favorites of all time, this as said above, is just a whole new level of amazing.

Whuh? Hating on the story for this one? I find it is infinity better presented/told than the first, and because of that I am much more in to it.

The story is awesome! It's so weird, and you're thrown around and you're constantly wondering what the fuck is happening. I've only played like 2.5 h so far though.
I'm sort of bummed that they took away the masks for the levels, it gave you more out of every level when you replayed them. They solved it nicely though, tying it together with the story..
I played about an hour and it feels like it ramped up into guns and powerful guns at that, along with a lot more enemies, very quickly. Most of the maps seem to have long sight lines that require you to look ahead or else you'll get shot from off screen, and that's kind of annoying.
I'm hoping they have more melee focused maps as I progress later. In general the spaces seem much more open now and that slows down the gameplay a lot.

Masks are there. Not in every level, but sometimes you got option to pick who you want to be.

I wholeheartedly agree with this ^. Just a lot of the reviews have dinged it for poor story compared to the first, but I highly disagree on all fronts that this is a step back in comparison to the original. I think this is already shaping up to be a proper sequel to a great great game (shaping up = me only being on like lvl 6 lol)
I haven't played it yet due to Australia problems, but I think the problem with the story was more that it'll sometimes force you down a specific route, rather than allowing you to pick and choose exactly the character and weapon you'd like to use.
Someone posted this link on twitter, i picked it up this way despite being in aus http://store.steampowered.com/app/274170/?cc=us downloading it now, i'm pretty keen but i've heard some criticisms about level architecture slowing the game down, which is a lil sad considering the frantic nature is what sold the original.
Wooooow, I played a bit of the first one. I don't know if I prefer the music in the old one or this one to be honest. The music isn't as unique as in the first one.
