starting a sketch book to keep track of my progress. sick of just lurking on hear and seeing all teh great stuff... hopefully this will be a bit of a kick in the ass to get going on my own stuff


Any crit would be greatly appreciated.

spend a day on this guy... it was only when i was rendering him i realised i should have probably given him wings

never mind.. im sure hes great at falling with style

small update just managed a quick 40 min sketch of a skull

not even nearly finished but im glad i managed to get something out

Nice start to your sketchbook. The overall shape of your skull is nice, and I do realize that you probably did a speed sculpt only, though one area that stood out is the zygomatic arch. Work on some reference to get this better in place for your next speed run. But still, looking good.

Hey KurtR appreciate the crit.. yes, you are right. Its way off!! i had a good look at the reference i don't know how i missed it. Hopefully ill know for next time

oh and i also got a mouse sculpted up..

just spent about an hour and a half on him.. so hard to get those little hands right and get his proportions to look right, its hard to even see what's going on under the fluff.. but I'm learning so its all good

got this guy posed.. his arms and hands dtill look wonky but i can't seem to get them to look natural





anyway im going to call it done and move on to my next project!

Just a wee update on Goyle..

He has wings now.. they still need work but i have been fighting them for long enough.. so for now they are.. "done"

struggling with the face as well, made the ears bigger and better but the snout just wont sit right for me. any crit would be very welcome.
