Well i'm fixing some issues on the boobs now.
The helmet... I'll try to make it like the concept, but maybe something more... complex, with mech parts?
Hey dude, I like what you're going for here. It looks like you're trying to push the stylization of her curves past where the concept takes it, which I'm totally on board with. When dealing with stylized female anatomy, there's a pretty fine line between successful and ridiculous. I'd recommend checking out Neox's Chris Sanders tribute girl for reference on how to hendle the anatomy, especially the chest.
I'd also recommend not doing anything more complicated for the helmet. A key element of stylized art is clean, readable shapes. The concept you're using is not techy, it's a showcase for the charact's face. Everything about her outfit serves to simply compliment the natural shapes of the body, and the soft simplicity of the design really helps sell the face and personality of the character. That same simplicity, combined with the color scheme, makes the face the primary focal point. I'd highly recommend you not mess with that design if you want the things that make that concept feel good to come through in your model.
Make another model after this with crunchy tech bits if you really feel a need to get your greeble on
Thanx for the reference ^^ i've been working in others models (there are in my artstation [Spam mode on])
I'm back with some new pics :poly124:
I'm happy with proportions, now it's time to make the face and the hair... > . < too many doubts with the hair. What do you think about it? Solid hair? hair and fur? another option?? Help!! hahaha
I would definitely do solid hair man. You might be able to get away with doing a solid block with some alpha towards the end like tracer in overwatch as well.
The concept is really awesome, I think if you can pull it off this will be quite the piece. Keep checkin those proportions out, you are pretty damn close though. I think the curve of the arm is really important to the design, the way everything is soft/smooth (in the curve I mean, no lumps). Some of the added anatomy around the hips looks good but it's not really in the concept, thats your choice! I kind of like it. I'd also reduce some of the thickness at the transition of the helmet, and maybe make the helmet itself more round from the front view, I think the bubble-ness is intended.
Hi there!
I dont mind the exagerated and ''balloon'' like boobs but I think you should
soften that transition a bit so it doesn't look like 2 sphere overlapping the chest.
it doesn't currently look integrated to her body/chest and could be a little lower to leave a bit of place for the sternum, boobs, even with push up bra doesn't usually start right under the collar bone haha!
I think the leg as a little bit too much curve, I would ring back the foot under her a little more. IMO it's currently curving on the outside a bit too much.
I like the volumptuous legs, but I think she currently have too much of a gap in her crotch area that wouldn't happen wich the amount of curves she had.
I believe that would also make the sihouette of the leg more interesting.
Anyhow this is all based on my personnal taste and opinion, take it or leave it. looking forward to see the progress.
The topology on the face is looking pretty good, but your geometry is really thinning out around the eyelides and especially the ears. They look like rolled up pieces of paper. Inflate them.
My biggest problem is with the head bubble, it looks a lot more spherical in the concept, i'd try to match that a bit more closely. Right now if she turned her head she'd risk bumping it into the side.
The Bubble is complicate cause if i do very spherical, the entire composition lose a lot of unity. I don't think so much weight on the top of the piece would be good.
NOt final shot, but... closely ^__^
I'm very happy with the results and the progress with this model ;D
Naww, it's beautiful! Also, your approach on topology is very thorough.
I'd turn down the intensity of the seamlines of her suit (they look mostely pure white now) and make them thinner, as in the concept, though.
I'm very happy with the topology. I was so lucky with the feedback i got ^^
By the way, the seamlines... maybe you are right... I will try to make it thinner to get a better look ^^ Thaks!!
You nailed the curves really well, the model looks looks super sweet! Maybe you should have another background for her presentation? I find it a bit distracting at the moment, I want more of the model!
love the expressions, but why do her eyelids never (or hardly) adapt to the deformation of the skin when she moves her mouth-, cheek- or forehead muscles?
or can you blend them from the subtle changes you made in the first sheet?
@Muzz that's the last modification I had planned. The idea was a rigger take the model, make his magic and a good animator could play with the astronaut. I'm very happy with the result and especially with the topology.
Thanx everyone for the feedback. You supported me a lot and make me improve THANKS ^^

Awesome work so far, can't wait to see more!

Some updates here.
I fixed the legs siluete and the brast. What do you think about it now? I see more natural but i'm not sure to have been ended or not xD
I think the topology of the lower jaw woul be better... i've been investigating the better way... but i'm not sure enough...
This way would be better?
Thanx jhoythottle for the ears detail! ^^

Looking good!
How far are you planning on going with the animation?
