The 2015 CG Student Awards Issues Call for Entries

Hey, this is a shout out to all those students and recent graduates that are looking to kick-start their careers.

Sponsored by Autodesk, the CG Student Awards is the largest event for Visual Effects, Feature Animation, and Next-Gen Gaming students. Showcase your skills to top studios from around the world, win one of twenty-five (25) internships and a piece of the $360,000 in prizes.

The Awards has six main categories:
• School of the Year
• Student of the Year
• Film of the Year
• Game of the Year
• People’s Choice
• Bootcamp Placements (Internships)

All computer graphics students worldwide that attended an accredited course between
January 2014 - May 2015 are eligible to enter.

Examples of suitable courses are Computer Animation, Bachelor of Computer Graphics,
Animation and Interactive Media, Game Design and Development, 3D Computer Animation,
Digital Effects, Computer Visualisation, Computer Science, Visual Effect (VFX) Courses. All other courses with similar curriculum are deemed suitable.

The judges are looking for any of the following skills, but not limited to: Modelling, Texturing,
Rigging, Pre-visualisation, Architectural Visualisation, Animation, Lighting, Compositing, Live
Action, Character Animation, Editing, Concept Art, Coding, R&D, Game Design, and Game
Development.

Entries to the CG Student Awards can be submitted online at www.cgstudentawards.com. The results will be announced June 17th, 2015.
