This looks really cool, but I looked at the eventbrite page and it sounds like you need to bring your own laptop if you want to work along with Kurt in the workshop. Is that the case?

Yeah Joel, I could not find a venue with computers at a reasonable price, so I got great desk spaces with tons of room for people to work using their own laptops. I can supply a couple laptop workstations for people who dont have one.

Would I be the odd man out if I went but didn't bring anything to work with? I'd go just to watch/listen to Kurt and absorb workflow.

Do most people go to things things to work along?
