Hello, im planning to buy a new pc, which i will use besides other to render via V-Ray (2 or 3) via 3Ds max.
And im looking to some cpu test using vray as renderer, are there any such test? I mean specifically testing different cpus on Vray renderer and showing the differences?

Are there any, i was not able to find any via google.

Im looking probably to buy 4790K cpu (maybe thinkinh even about 5820K) intel.

Are there any test showing results from different cpus SPECIFICALLY IN VRAY?

Most rendering is the same, it's how the utilize the hardware and what your settings are, some are faster, others slower. If you don't want to dabble with settings Red Shift is better, otherwise my opinion is, understand Mental Ray and how it works once you feel confident, then move onto Vray.

Unfortunately there's barely any rendering benchmarks and comparisons for vray and mental ray. I really wish they would include one and survey people. Any multi-threaded cpu benchmark should give you a decent comparisons between similar processors, like the newest i3 Vs the newest i7, or the 4790K Vs the 5820k, as long as there's no other bottlenecks. Most of those benchmarks don't take into comparison overclocks, and aren't great at comparing one series of AMD processors Vs Intel, or the core2duo era processors Vs the I-series.
