FTP client that works like Dropbox?

Hello,

Is there anything out there like this?

I'm working with a band that's not quite as tech savy.
While dropbox would be nice they're also struggling just to pay for a rehearsal spot to play music and still survive nevermind getting something like Dropbox Pro.

Is there some kind of alternative so I can just host the space from my personal FTP and still have easy accessibility like Dropbox?

Just need some kind of super easy system for these guys to drop in jam recordings, guitar riff recordings and song fragments, music/tablature sheets, full songs, and song mixing project files.

If you're using windows you can set up network drives like FTP.

Not exactly like dropbox though i think but worth a shot.

Transmit's the closest thing to what you're looking for that I can think of, but it costs money, and is mac exclusive.

owncloud, maybe? I don't know much about it, but it lists ftp in the featurelist.

If you're on windows you can map an FTP server like a network drive.

put

ftp://[COLOR="DarkOrange"]username[/COLOR]:[COLOR="Yellow"]password[/COLOR]@[COLOR="YellowGreen"]hostname[/COLOR]/

in your explorer window's location and you can browse an FTP server using the native explorer and map it as a "Z" drive and such. The most DropBox-like way I can think of. I do this for my servers and it's a quick way to pick around at files without using an FTP client.
