Hi everyone,

I'm new to the community, nice to meet u all :)

I've recently updated my showreel and would love to hear some feedback about it. I welcome any critique you have to give. I thought this forum would be the best place to post it as it a constant work in progress.

Just for a brief summary, this showreel contains Character Art and Animation work for film and video games, it also contains some of my illustration work. In the future I will narrow my focus to more Video Game related work and I would like to specialise Character Art more.

I also have some questions...

I also wondered if this showreel might benefit from including some decent rigging work? to make it more generalist? especially if I am applying to Game related jobs.

I am currently preparing my application for an Character Artist internship with a mobile game company. I am considering doing a short mobile game development course on Digital Tutors which covers the entire production pipeline, do you think this is a good idea? Or should I just focus on the character art and save some time?

Lastly, on the topic of courses.. I would like to sign up to some online courses for concept art and 3D art and was wondering if there was any you would recommend?
