Hey everyone! I have been a member of polycount for quite some time and always leave amazed everytime i visit and see everyone's art. I have finally gotten around to polishing my own skills in zbrush and this thread here is going to be my journey of self discovery in all things zbrush.

So i wanted to work on a series, and I decided to do characters from Majora's Mask. Its such a great style, and the N64 zelda games are what inspired me to do game art in the first place! I picked out the Deku Butler as my first mountain to climb. My goal is to try and capture as much of what the concept originally inteded, with a slight twist of my own. In the end I want to print out the whole set characters I model out, so im also modeling with that in my mind as well.

I would love any and all comments and crits! Its been a few years since ive done modeling in zbrush, so I'm quite rusty and just getting used to the brushes and stuff. Any reccomendations yall might have for what brushes would be helpful to use, please let me know. I spent a good deal of time fiddling around to get certain shapes earlier, only to find that i could have taken 1/3 of the time to get that shape if i had known about the pinch brush :poly122:

Only areas ive really spent time working on so far are the face and arms. I think the silhouette is pretty solid though?
