It's been a while! Been keeping really busy lately while working on a new scene at work. It's been created 100% using Quixel's Megascans material and it's rendered in Unreal Engine 4. It's been a real blast working with scanned materials.
Enough chit-chat - here's a video and some pictures, hope you like it!
Whoa that is so beautiful... need to work more on my vegetations, but would you mind share your materials you used for this? I have the Problem that my foliage always looks kinda plastic in UE4
Looks cool in motion, but then the magic stops on screenshots to me, to be honest. There is a fake feeling when looking at the pictures. I can't really tell what, just too busy overall? maybe too much displacement or too much noise, some stuff looks a bit low res like the tree bark on the foreground. Anyway I'm nitpicky probably, again it looks a lot better in motion, but that's my opinion.

edit: If there's something I look forward to, that's not doing vegetation ever again. I need this in my life.
Do you mind if I ask, how much time it took to create the scene and on which computer it is running ?
Now I need to get my jaw back !
Will be releasing a breakdown of the scene and how I used the materials and so on. Shouldn't take too long.
It's gonna be a fun future
